Paige’s Story

Paige
Paige was a vibrant young girl that loved animals and playing volleyball, but she suffered from a rare form of brain cancer known as DIPG. Project 4031 made her dreams come true by coordinating a special 14th birthday celebration for all her friends and family. The thought of her party brightened Paige’s spirits and gave her something to look forward to as she counted down the days to the big event. As a devoted dog lover, in lieu of gifts, Paige invited 250 guests to her dog-themed birthday party and asked them to contribute to dog rescues she was passionate about. Everything from dog food, beds, toys, monetary donations and more were donated and later distributed to multiple organizations.
The party was held at her local community center and was a great success with on-theme party food, decor, and favors thanks to our wonderful caterer. We are grateful to have met Paige and witness her selflessness as well as her strength as she battled DIPG. Her determination and giving heart were an inspiration to so many and we are glad to have been a part in helping put a smile on her face during such a difficult time.

“I was trying to plan a birthday party for a 14-year-old that isn’t going to get another one…and we were introduced to Project 4031…You think you can do it all yourself, you can’t. We definitely had to have their help. [They] took a lot off my plate. We are forever thankful.”

– Jennifer, Paige’s Mom
