North Texas Giving Day is an 18-hour online giving event designed by the Communities Foundation of Texas to empower every person to give back to their community. In 2020, North Texans gave over $58 million to nearly 3,300 local nonprofits! NTX Giving Day is the largest community-wide giving event in the nation and in the last 12 years has raised over $375 million for our community! This year, the event was a wonderful success again, proving our community continues to “be the good” and more people are joining this incredible movement to become philanthropists every year!

On September 23rd, a record-breaking $66 million was raised for over 3,300 local nonprofits! These numbers are a reminder that despite the hardships we have all faced over the last year, we can still come together as a community to support our favorite causes and unite to promote kindness in the world!

We have seen firsthand many families are still experiencing the effects of COVID-19, from the loss of financial security to the loss of a loved one. The fear and stress many faced in 2020 have spilled over into this year, creating daily uncertainty as families struggle with the balance to keep one another safe and make ends meet. Project 4031 families encounter these same struggles with financial hardships as they strive to provide the best end-of-life care for their loved ones as they endure this already difficult journey during a global pandemic. To reduce exposure for their immunocompromised loved ones, many families we work with have been forced to isolate and stay home to stay safe. The support Project 4031 provides through funds raised on NTX Giving Day is critical to ensure we continue meeting the needs of our patients and families through our programs.

As Project 4031 celebrates our 10th anniversary this year, we are incredibly grateful for your support and belief in our mission. Since its inception, Project 4031 has strengthened the end-of-life stories for over 740 patients and their families, which is only made possible by donors like YOU and giving events like NTX Giving Day! Every gift, no matter how big or small, makes a meaningful difference to the families we serve! We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for continuing to join us and make an IMPACT!
